Wrongful Death

When a person dies due to the actions of another person or entity, a claim for wrongful death arises in the next of kin of the deceased person. These types of claims are often governed by state statutes that set out how and to whom the claim for wrongful death arises. Idaho’s Wrongful Death statute is located at Idaho Code 5-311.
